Sol Meliá Vacation Club welcomes first members to the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora in Tenerife

The Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is SMVC’s first vacation membership resort in Tenerife, as well as the result of Sol Meliá’s experience over the years in developing high-end, luxurious resorts in the Caribbean. Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is the result of a great deal of effort by many teams, to meet the growing and changing needs of our members. It is a lesson in awareness and adaptation of our product to their preferences and expectations, which include developing unique experiences in exotic locations, a sophisticated range of services, comfortable, upscale design and cuisine, as well as an extensive choice of leisure activities and amenities.

The first members were very excited to be the “opening couple” and expressed their appreciation for the luxurious accommodations, the full range of amenities and the highest level of service they received.

FAMILIARIZATION TRIP IN GRAN MELIÁ SALINAS “Experiencing the Gran Meliá Salinas and Lanzarote”

The European Network Familiarization-trip was intended to impart knowledge as much as the experience of an SMVC membership to our network agents, so that they have a better understanding and impression of the island and the Gran Meliá Salinas, which is part of our SMVC Resorts Collection. Madrid Member Services Supervisor, Susana Baines, together with the Lanzarote SMVC Quality Assurance Representative, Silvia Montero, compiled a program which skillfully combined information, work and enjoyment. The Network agents participating in the Familiarization-trip have given an extremely positive feedback of their days in Lanzarote and were greatly impressed with the quality of the SMVC units, service and the facilities available at the Hotel.

The organization Resort Condominiums International (RCI) awarded the Hotel Meliá Tamarindos with the distinction Gold Crown 2008

RCI, with resort affiliates in over 100 countries, is the creator of an innovative quality assurance plan that rates the resorts quality including service, facilities, and amenities through member experiences and a exacting criteria. We are pleased to announce that RCI has awarded the Gold Crown distinction (the highest possible), for 2008 to Sol Meliá Vacation Club at Meliá Tamarindos. This award is particularly important, since it is based on feedback from guests of various nationalities who delivered their views on the service quality of resorts visited during a year. This 2008 achievement is of special importance because it tells us that we are on the right track and the award represents for SMVC an incentive to continue improving the daily service that our guests expect and deserve.
